Born in Eastern Canada, Anita is an actor, producer, and writer primarily of German, Irish and Icelandic heritage. Past training includes Strasberg New York, as well as various Winnipeg, MB coaches and programs. She is also a successful children's book author with more than 17 published books, and is a former Chair of the Writers' Union of Canada. She thinks too much, rises too early, and in her spare time enjoys renovating old campers.
